Founded in 1978 by L.S. Combs, BioSource Landscaping Services began as a commercial landscape business. The company evolved into a full service landscaping company that provides both commercial and residential landscaping. Currently, BioSource Landscaping Services is female owned and operated and certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the State of Ohio Unified Certification Program (UCP) under the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 49, Part 26 in addition to be granted the status as an Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) participant with the State of Ohio. We are also proud to acknowledge that we have implemented a BWC-approved drug free workplace (DFWP) program, which makes the company compliant with the mandate of the Ohio legislature through HB 80.

BioSource Landscaping is known in the construction industry for our ability to hydroseed large quantities of land efficiently in addition to planting mass quantities of plants with beautiful results. At BioSource’s headquarters in Xenia, we sell mulch, compost, peat moss, topsoil, sand and gravel to both retail and wholesale customers. As an EPA approved Class III Yard Waste Disposal facility, both wholesale and retail customers are permitted to bring their biodegradable yard waste to BioSource. All products are recycled and then sold to wholesale and retail customers in the form of mulch, compost, and topsoil products. During the winter months, we offer commercial plowing and salting services.

The goal of BioSource Landscaping Services is to be a low cost provider of mulch, topsoil and other landscaping products & services, while providing excellent service to our customers.
